Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. is a provider of CCTV products and services with the second largest market share in the world, according to the 2015 IMS report. Tekra is a major importer of DAHUA products in Bulgaria.

So far, the company has invested around EUR 40 million in Bulgaria, according to information from the company.

With more than 16,000 employees and over 50% of R&D staff, Dahua’s solutions, products, and services are being implemented in over 180 countries and regions.

Since launching the industry’s first 8-channel DVR in 2002, Dahua Technology has dedicated itself to technological innovation and has steadily increased its R&D investment, putting about 10% of its annual sales revenue back into research and development.

The company is exploring emerging opportunities based on video technology for the Internet and has already established a business in the field of machine vision, video conferencing systems, professional drones, electronic registration numbers, RFID, robotics, and more.

Tekra Ltd. is one of the major importers and distributors of all Dahua products.

According to the latest financial statement (2017) of Dahua Technology Bulgaria, the company reported a loss of BGN 411.000 (about EUR 200,000).

“We have chosen to open our first office in the Balkans in Bulgaria, because the local market offers many opportunities. Dahua’s management plans to make a significant investment to position Bulgaria as the hub of the video security industry in the region”, Todor Gurgurov, Business Development Manager at Dahua Technology Bulgaria, said in 2017. Dahua has been operating on the Bulgarian market since 2004 through its distributors RAK and ANDI.

Currently, the manager of Dahua Technology Bulgaria is Chen Yuking from China.

In three months at the beginning pf 2020, Dahua Technology has created, developed, and deployed a record-breaking solution – a combination of video surveillance, facial detection, artificial intelligence, and thermal high-precision body temperature measurement – for the coronavirus problem.

One of the decisions China has taken to tackle the epidemic is to install thermal imaging cameras to measure the body temperature of people passing through train stations, airports, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, and other public places, thus significantly limiting the spread of the virus.

Turkey’s and Greece’s neighboring countries have already delivered, installed, and operated a large number of Dahua Technology hybrid thermal cameras.

In the country, SysTeh Bulgaria, a national leader in the delivery, adaptation, and preparation of projects and solutions for video-oriented smart products, is ready to provide the Bulgarian industry with instant access to this tried and true Dahua Technology solution.
